Currently on BLM land in Lincoln County NM. Highly recommended. Comfortable temps and quiet.  Cave Canyon,  Rob Jaggers Campground both nice and space available for those looking in this area.

I have been researching that very area the past few days. I hunted there 2 different times many years ago and wanted to return and do some boondocking. the owner had 5,000 acres (some blm) with 100 acres with 4 sides nat'l forest. (Loma Grande Ranch). any other specific sites would be helpful.

So, we drove from Denver to Albuquerque last week. Before we got to Albuquerque, we stopped in Pecos for a Geocache.

It was getting late so we decided to look for a place to boondock.

We went north on 63 about 6 miles and saw a sign for dispersed camping.

Dirt road shows up as 123 on google maps

We drove about 1 mile up the road and found a great spot for the night.

No service and very light traffic..........one van passed us all night.

I saved the site with my GPS.

Type this into google and it will get you there.
