OK , I just enlarged it .
I've spent a good amount of time with my head stuck inside a piano placing microphones......
That metal contraption in the exposed side wall is the frame on which the strings are strung !

 I googled Rolling Homes which I found a few weeks back and loved the trucks.

Well, you know, s/he/they probably had the truck and needed a home.. and, well, got creative.

I do have to wonder about the forward view with that overhang. Yet on the house facing forward, there appears to be a huge dome window?? What was that RV series about the submarine ... had that big window viewing room forward? LOL

Don't know how many pre 1968 VW buses got chopped off at the belt line and welded onto top of school buses for a nice bit of added head room and a lot of light so you could put up hanging planters. Those buses sell for more than most motor homes now!
