Danner Boot Sale

just wanted to give you all a heads up.  Danner boots is having a sale until 9/6/17 on their made in USA boots. many of their boots can be resoled and re-stitched. I find Danner boots to be excellent quality boots.  I only wear boots or sandals that's all I own.

yeah Danner sells imports but they are not recraftable(that's Danner's word). but for 3 bucks that's a steel. highdesertranger

I already have a set of Danner Pronghorns that will hopefully last a long time, but thanks for the heads up.

I've had 3 pairs in the last 30 years all resoled at least once all lasted 15 years or better. Cuts from sharp metal were usually what made me get new ones. Takes me about 5 years to break them in, heavy but the boots you want if you like your ankles.

They look good and the prices are good for a quality pair of boots, but it looks like they don't even make my size, 12 B. I guess I'll have to stick to Red Wings.

IT seems every boot I click on that's USA made and on sale, only comes in what Danner calls "Men's EE Wide"...which makes me rather hesitant because I have a narrow foot.

Are Danners available through any national chain stores?

The ones on 60% sale are close-outs and not available in all sizes. Danner is a good boot. So is Redwing, but I like Danner as easier to break-in.

Used to wear Danner boots but now I prefer the Donner brand ..

Not as durable but they are edible in an emergency  .. 
just in case you get stranded in a snowstorm on a mountain or something.
