Anyone have a custom battery cable maker on the internet they'd like to recommend?  I'll be installing my permanent house battery this spring and figure I might as well start component shopping now.
Thanks!

Genuine deals was on my shortlist.
They are fantastic quality, and **lots** cheaper than buying the tools at the quality level required to get the results that they deliver.

Pro tip - use a length of that gauge or bigger wire to measure extended lengths through the actual path/locations.

And add a little bit for if / when you'll need it in future as long as it isn't #4/0 with no place to put the extra

Also, http://www.bestboatwire.com is the same outfit, excellent source for decent pricing on top-notch wiring & terminators etc when you are DIYing.

They sell Pacer, every bit as good as Ancor but much more reasonable, especially in 100' spools.

Just get 3-4 gauges and round up, no need to keep more than that on hand.

WindyNation has premade high quality cables in custom lengths and sizes.  I bought some from them and was very impressed with them. Quality lugs and heavy copper, nicely bendable thick insulation. The prices are great too.

Doing your own allows you to make the precise lengths without all the pre-measuring or changes that often take place, especially if you are on a tight schedule and don’t have time for additional ordering.

I used mine for my last install and found being able to make any cable any size on the spot was much easier than previously installs when I ordered individual cables. Any cost savings was secondary to the convenience.

Just a bump up the forum and shout out to GenuineDealz.com. I ordered all my cables from this site. Extremely easy to use website and ordering online, and high quality custom cables. Delivery was super fast. Couldn't be happier with this vendor! Thanks to all who recommended them to me.

Just a post script. I purchased all my cables (4awg to 2/0awg) from GenuineDealz. Next round, I bought a FTZ crimper. I did real well until I got 2/0 stuff. Hard to get right. Trick, I used garden hose to figure the length and curves for the heavier cable, then ordered on line.
