It was 117 F at my mom's house in Salem Oregon. Pretty soon we'll see suguaros sprouting in Oregon.

In the meantime it's only been in the mid-80s here in S.E. Arizona.

During the heat wave in BC the coroner reported that the number of unexpected deaths was three time the average for the period. Most were elderly people who died in their homes.
