I know the Chevrolet Kodiak 5500 was a popular chassis, but I can't find anything on the Journey motorhome. This is for sale in Hamilton Ohio. No other information, but Ai can get the phone number if anyone's interested. I'd guess it's early to mid nineties.

Looks neat!

Sorry for the poor photo - used the iPhone.

Kodiak's are good trucks. Never seen this setup before, looks heavy duty. It would be cool to have this one just to be different from other RV vehicles. I wonder if it is gas or diesel. Automatic or 5 x 2.
I'm guessing diesel. If I have the chance, I might start up a conversation with someone at the lot about it.

I like!!! will they take my 88 jayco in trade?

No, there was no one around the lot. I can get the phone number, if you like.

If you wouldn't mind a phone # would be great! Thanks!

I usually see them in connection with a large cargo trailer ( carnival) or a race car trailer. Most of the 5500 series I have seen and driven have been diesel, either dump trucks or flatbeds ,or the 26' Uhaul i used to move south. I hope they upgraded the seat and suspension for the camper package!

Stillcan

The number is 513-543-4726

It's a diesel engine and the unit looks in nice shape from the exterior. The inspection was somewhat preliminary, as it was raining at the time, but the road tires looked in good shape with plenty of tread, the house and truck body both looked in nice shape. There was no one around to talk to at the the lot, but if you're serious and talk to the guy, I'm willing to meet with the guy, take interior photos and look around, and give my impression, FWIW.

A tag on the outside referred to Lazy Days Super Center in Seffner Fla. might be a source of info.

I didn't see anything which gave an indication of its age. Couldn't get up to see the VIN, which would have given a lot of info.

The top of the house, where it meets the side, might need to be recaulked, from what I could see. Difficult to tell without a ladder. Didn't look to be a big deal.
Hope this helps.

I'll give the a call.

Thanks!!

BTW it's located in Fairfield Ohio, just north of Cincinnati

I called and spoke with the owner of the rig. Seems nice just a bit more than I want to spend $28k being a 1993 with 176K miles. Now we all know.
