Cell signal lost when reflectix is up

We recently got reflectix for our van,  and lose our cell signal when it is on the windows. Does anyone else have this issue? We have a passenger van, so there are a lot of windows. I wonder if black out curtains may be a better choice.

You are effectively blocking the signal with metal. You might try using a booster or antenna that will pick up the signal outside.
