Carbon Monoxide Detector

Hello All
What do you all think about using a carbon monoxide detector in a van. Do you think it is recommended or not? Thank you in advance for your input.

I think any place you could get CO you should be running a detector!

As an aside the ones ment for wearing in industrial settings are more sensitive in my experience and since they’re designed to clip to you would likely work better in a van!

Three detectors, carbon monoxide, propane detector (if you use propane) and a smoke alarm. I consider these essentials.

However, you wouldn't want something so sensitive it picks up on your or other vehicle's engine exhaust and goes off every time you drive.

yes on the three that Brian posted. oh yeah make sure you get RV ones that run off of 12v. highdesertranger

Thanks for the replies and information. I would never have thought about a propane monitor. Terrific advice from all as usual.

Absolutely necessary, IMO, whether you burn anything inside or not.
