Camper shell offgassing

Hi, all. Well I have my lined camper top on my truck now and I'm getting the back fixed up. There is a strong chemical odor in the back now though, perhaps from the adhesive used for the liner? The topper has sliding windows with screens so I have been keeping them open. It's getting less odorous but I'm wondering, is it toxic? For how long?

I'd be willing to bet it will dissipate within a week or two of being ventilated. I had a similar odor after using spray adhesive in my van. It lingered for around 10 days or so.

yes it's toxic and yes it will lessen. within a couple weeks you should barely smell it, within a month it will all be over. I mean the smell. highdesertranger
