Hi folks - just an occasional camper here, but I've gotten to like the discussions and the respect with which most posters treat each other. Really a unique source of all things mobile.

Welcome whodathunk to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome... I find this site very informative and helpful, and I'll bet you do too.

Welcome to the CRVL Forums   :)

Camping is a first step for many who think they would like to become a nomad but aren't sure of themselves enough yet.  We often urge them to think about becoming weekend campers first to get their toes in the water with regards to living out of a Van or some other kind of rig.  There are many ways to do it including motorcycles or bicycles and a tent as well.  So the next time you're sitting around a campfire mention the CRVL forum if the subject of full timing comes up.  OK !

Welcome to the CRVL Forums  :)

Camping is a great start for those who may be considering the idea of becoming a Nomad.  It's a way for them to get their toe in the waters and have a successful first experience whether it is an overnight or a weekender.  Whether they have a Van or some other kind of rig they can begin to learn what it's like to be out of the sticks & bricks and into nature and travel some without feeling they have to be back home when the street lights come on.   :p

So if you're sitting around a campfire some evening and the subject of Nomad's & Full Timers comes up,  mention the CRVL Forum to them.  OK
