Camfrog van dwellers chat

I'm going to be opening a van dwellers type chat room on a program called Camfrog, some of you may be familiar with it some of you may not be. It can be found at www.camfrog.com. Its a messenger program that integrates chats much like yahoo messenger does. its a free download and you just make a screen name and the program allows you to use webcam also.&nbsp; I'm just giving a heads up here, because i talked to Bob about it and thought it would be a good idea. I'm inviting all of you to join camfrog and join the room and it will be up 24/7 <img src="../images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" alt="" align="absmiddle" border="0" /> I will give more details once the room is opened, if anyone has the program or is going to decide to download the camfrog program feel free to message me there or on here if you have any questions.. my screen name on there is 0ptimusPrime with a zero in "optimus" not an o. people always get it confused hehe. anyway i look forwards to seeing how this goes. im not smart enough for much linux.. i had ubuntu but i didnt learn it well.. also, what do you mean no love linux ? is it not compatable with the program i was talking about? or did i miss something lol

oh also i'd like to mention. camfrog has an app for iphone and android so if you do have linux and cant figure out the ways to work around it to use camfrog.. that is always an option <img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">

still trying to figure the workaround on my net book with ubuntu 12.04lts. my cell is a casio commando and has no screen side cam. looks like I may be SOL till I figure out a different approach. thanks for the link earlier.

oh, well , on the cellphone cams dont work in the rooms anyway, but you're still able to be on camfrog. and when i set the room up you'll be able to join it without cams / on phones.&nbsp; cameras only work in "private calls" one on one with someone.. so dont worry , unless you really want to have a cam. then yeah you'll have to sort it out on the linux..

just wanted to let everyone know,&nbsp; that if anyone was interested in the chat room idea that i had, i am going to be opening it in 2-3days (now that its Sunday.&nbsp; you just have to download the messenger.(its free) unless you wish to upgrade to pro user. but that is NOT required AT ALL. Camfrog is available on your iphone, ipad, android, and pc. and you can access the chat from all of those devices. You can add me ( i gave a different have JohnnyGutz as a name aside from my 0ptimusPrime name.. i hope some of you check it out. I look forward to it. (if you contact me before the 1st on camfrog, make sure its to the 0ptimusPrime name . i will use the other one starting the first. <img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">

well as i said. the program doesnt support video in the chatrooms&nbsp; if youre using anything other than a computer.. it only does video in private calls at that point.. so i dont think it matters. but either way i wouldnt know what the data usage would be for somethin like that. :\.
