Was looking online for Shuttle Buses and found this surplus site that auctions off vehicles.
There are a bunch of inexpensive shuttle buses being auctioned off in Texas is if you're down that way and interested.
http://www.publicsurplus.com/sms/browse/cataucs?catid=412

They also auction school buses, police cars, vans and other vehicles.

No idea if the place is reputable, but it seems like they auction city and public transit vehicles, so the government trusts them (for whatever that's worth).

That is cool. Wonder what it takes to bid/set up account.

It's legit. Coast to coast as well. The first shuttle is in tucson

WOW...they've got all kinza rigs on there, from big trucks to stepvans, and tons of cargo vans too!

Govdeals .com is a very good place to look legit very legit
I just acquired a 1993 Chevrolet P 30 bluebird mini bird for 1600 bucks

I think I'd consider one of the Ambulances, I'd think they received good maintenance over there years.

School buses, Yikes, connecting rod through the oil pan, coolant in the oil...etc. Man oh man some heavy footed abuse.

Ok
But I'm thinkng the ambulance driver might need to get somewhere quick
Bus nice and easy for the little kiddos
But they Most likely have a more powerful engine
