Yup. Been through many of those. I've learned that only authorized dealers install and watched a few usage videos, same as Winnebago Roam.I do not personally know anything about it but doing a search with focused keywords brought up lots of returns from ,YouTube videos, Promaster user groups, blogs, installers, and more.
These are the keywords. “Braun UVL Promaster”
You should be able to get the actual clearance information from an installer. I might be wrong but I seem to remember that HOWA has a sponsored chat group for Van Life persons with mobility issues.Yup. Been through many of those. What I'd like to learn is actual user camper van experiences, especially concerning clearances, lifted van needs or experiences and costs. Most of what I viewed online are just passenger vans useage or dealer promos.
Thanks, I just joined that group to see who knows what on this topic. Knowing clearances and experiencing clearances are two different things. Lower clearances mid chassis could be a problem. And would such a unit even fit under most camper vans? You should be able to get the actual clearance information from an installer. Have you joined the HOWA Facebook group?
Fishing expeditions without actual data about ground clearance for a specific vehicle setup will only net you answers based on speculations. Call installers and sellers for that unit. You need to get real life data from actual sources. The empty ground clearances for specific vehicles are easy to obtain with online searches. Then It is basic math to figure out the approximate ground clearance. Thanks, I just joined that group to see who knows what on this topic. A so-called " fishing expedition" would be going to an installer who typically installs these on mostly empty passenger vans and not on camper vans. That is why I was seeking actual camper van user experiences here. That would be more "real life data" than an installer who installs for very different use cases. Thanks for thoughts, but I'm looking for real world experience from camper van owners. True, there may not be any on this forum who use this device, but I wouldn't know if I didn't ask.Fishing expeditions without actual data about ground clearance for a specific vehicle setup will only net you answers based on speculations. But remember ground clearance data is based on an unloaded vehicle.
