Boston and Cambridge are notoriously difficult places to park, even for cars.  Would it be practical at all to live in a van or Class B?

Reddit is skeptical:

It would be best to keep things general; I'd hate for any specific spots to get overrun.

Marty Walsh, Mayor of Boston, has made it really hard to park in the city.  I am new to the van culture thing but I can tell you, he's made some of the last free streets into either metered spots (4 hours max, always ticketed) or into residential permit after 6PM until 8AM.  That's a 40 dollar ticket for overnight without a sticker.
