If you'd like to to see the fantastic scenery along US191 through Wyoming and Utah, I stored a 6:04 video of today's trip on YouTube. Please remember I'm non-commercial and just store videos there.

One Year VANNIVERSARY.  Time flies when you're having fun.  We've covered just over 24K miles, averaged 17.8 mpg, had zero mechanical issues and only spent 3 nights outside of the van.  NO REGRETS and no end in sight.  Life is good.

Can you explain your solar in the picture?
Is it a suitcase? Watts? Brand? Pros/cons?
Thanks!

- Not a suitcase. It's 2, 100 watt Renogy solar panels joined together with angle iron.

- I wanted a portable system vs one fixed to the roof. Makes them easier to keep clean and adjust to the sun.

- When I park, I take them out, position them, then connect them to the 20' cables permanently connected to the solar charger. I always keep my windows cracked and the wires fit through nicely.

- They pack up nicely in the back when traveling during which my batteries get charged by an isolator and the alternator.

Here's a 0:55 slideshow of the system which should answer most other questions

GSensory overload today on Colorado Route 82 between Aspen and Twin Lakes.  It went up and over Independence Pass, 12,098'.  I'll be posting up some videos in a couple days.  Just downright beautimous trip.  Life is good.

Beautiful. Where you planning on heading as it cools down?

Hey Bob, I was camped at Twin Lakes on my bike earlier this summer. What direction are you heading now? If you get anywhere close to Colorado Springs I'd love to buy you a cup of Joe, or lunch. Got a driveway under the pine trees your welcome to spend a night or two in also.

Bob, did you happen to stop in at Arches NP? I'm at Capitol Reef and thinking of heading that way and to Canyonlands NP.

Howdy, I'll be visiting a nephew in Fountain later in the week and would enjoy a cuppa with you.  I'll PM you when I get to my nephews.
