Picked up RidgeMonkey magnetic light with remote.  100+ hours on low white per charge.  Great interior or exterior light.  Mounted the remote, with Velcro, to operate while laying in bed.

After 14 months as full time van dweller, I’ve been spoiled and don’t see ever living statically again.

While the girls and I were on our morning walk, we decided it was moving day.  Now sitting here enjoying a 3d cuppa pondering the “where to” part of that decision.

That light looks like it would be a great addition - security, convenience, whatever.  where did you find it?  i did  a quick web search but i'm not seeing any US sources.

I added an additional isolated 100 ah house battery to have a backup system and to power a CPAP.  I put it in a Minn Kota power station battery box and fits right behind the driver seat.  It has 2 fused cigarette lighter sockets and external battery posts.   Also got a  15 amp 7 stage battery charger for it when we’re plugged in or running the generator.  Finally it also has it’s own separate Renogy Eclipse 100 watt portable solar panel w/attached charge controller as well.   Today’s the 1st day I’ve set up/hooked the solar panel to the battery (alligator clips) and it’s working a treat.

The girls waited patiently while some cheesie buffalo chicken strips were prepared in the RidgeMonkey clam skillet.  Ranch dressing dip.

Stopped last night at the Petro Travel Center in Kingdom City Missouri for a shower.  Very overnight van friendly and the girls loved their lawn . Life is good.

I often get asked about fuel mileage.  This picture shows 200+ miles into a tank, driving 65 on Interstate 70 in Missouri and Illinois.  I’ve tracked mileage on every drop of gas I’ve used since owning the Transit and my average is 17.6 mpg.  Very happy with the performance

I’ve passed the Gateway Arch numerous times over the years, today the girls talked me into taking a closer look.
