Hello all!
I am happy to have found this forum. I found it via Google, Sternwake's postings on van ventilation were pretty spot on. I have since found out that there are many very sharp folks here.
I spent a few years in the Silicon Valley in the mid to late '90's steath camping while working there. First in a 24' class A rv and then an extended 1970 Ford e200 camper van with a pop top. I was able to finagle a 4 day work week from my employer so I was able to spend my weekends traveling around the west coast with my GF.
I am a high tech focused kind of guy. I have been a rabid mountain biker since '85. I also rode road bikes for a lot of years, but had to give it up due to the large number of my associates being run down by idiot car drivers. When I crash I prefer it to be my fault.
I can offer my help in automotive diagnostic, emissions and driveability. I took the Calif. Smog license course to better hone my already deep focus on diagnostics. Never sought to be a paid smog tech. Please don't ask me to lay hands on your vehicle. Advice is what I'm offering.
A couple of years ago I bought a 40ah lifepo4 battery pack off of eBay. I save been tinkering with it and researching the care and feeding of that battery tech.
Happy trails,
M
