Essentially, I want to get this Flojet pump, or something like it, to empty my RV tanks. The septic tank on my land is about 60ft away and uphill about 3 feet. Currently I dump it in a blue boy, drag that the 60ft, then empty directly into the septic tank.

My question is how to power it. Ideally, I would want to use this:

I'm not sure, however, if the pump will plug into the cigarette lighter style connection

Will that work, or do I need to do some wiring? I don't know a lot about electrical stuff, but I can follow simple instructions, in theory.

I have the same unit......it will work , I use mine to dump tanks into toilet traps and use a 50' 3/4 hose.....works well!!!

strait on works best....you will have to support the pump using it....I use the one with the backwash built in
