Hello. I've recently been looking at mobile ISPs. That's how I found this forum, a google search on some of the more common options. I've looked at nomad, and netbuddy. Anyway, I found this other company that seems to offer something in between netbuddy and nomad, but unfortunately I can't seem to find any reviews of their service online. That makes me a little reluctant . They seem to be just a little bit cheaper than nomad and allow you to use your own equipment. Also they seem to allow you to choose between AT&T and T mobile. Anyone here use them? anyone heard of them before? Here's their site.

https://www.nolimitdata.net/

So, what do you think? Is this legit or just a scam?

Never heard of them. kinda expensive and a lot of holes in their coverage area out west. Highdesertranger

Yeah, they're not what I would call cheap either, but they seem to promise "Unlimited", but we all know how that works. Anyway, my interest was that they seem to be comparable to Nomad, but just a bit cheaper and they seem to use both AT&T and T mobile, whereas I think Nomad uses Verizon (not sure about that). Anyway, I was looking for something comparable to the Nomad service, but would allow me to use my own equipment. Anyway, the thing that holds me back here, is I can't seem to find anyone who's used them before and what their experience was.

Not familiar with either, went to check Nomad out, and was greeted by this at the top of their home page:

"We are currently experiencing some issues with our live chat feature and do apologize for any delays or disconnections while chatting with our team. We are working on this and assure you we will reach out and reply to all emails as quickly as is possible!
- The Nomad Team"

Serendipity.

Earlier today I was wondering about coverage at a prospective site, but didn't actively pursue that line of inquiry.

While checking Nomad out, there's a link to Verizon coverage, so I think to check the area around the site and it is red all over.

I have used Netbuddy, unlimited data, $65/month.
The speed depends on the cell signal availability. More traffic, slower speed, so at busy times is slows somehow. It piggybacks on AT&T, so if AT&T signal is available, so is your internet too.
Now I'm using visible, with rides on Verizon. It is cheaper and also unlimited, with the same traffic slowdowns at busy times, but it is only $25 on a party plan.

Remember with these companies that piggy back on the big carriers you are a second class user. Meaning if the tower is busy you might get bumped down the chain. So if this service piggybacks on ATT and the ATT tower is busy priority is given to ATT customers you could have no service. Just something to keep in mind. Highdesertranger

I stay away from all third party plans.

visible isn't a third party plan? it is verizon-owned prepaid?

Yes but you are still in the second tier behind regular Verizon customers but probably above third party plans. Boy now we are getting complicated. Highdesertranger
