Any free camping in Eastern US?

Does anyone know of free camping in the Eastern U.S.?

Check with the various state parks and forests. Google. You may have to register, but most are free or very inexpensive.

There are a couple of free places in the Francis Marion national forest. 14 day limit. I've been to both places and posted videos of them both. One is more geared towards tent camping but there is a place to park an RV and there was a trailer there when I went out exploring the trails. the other has picnic tables and a pit toilet. Not much else out there but trees.

There are national forests in New England & they have motor vehicle use maps for them on line.

I Live in Massachusetts and travel up Upper New York and have all sorts of free camping thru various apps my favorite is www.freecamping.net also along the Vermont/ New York Boarder there are lots of spots! Good Luck...Peace and Blessings!
