Added 2 50w panels on the front

That looks really cool! However, the engineering side of me wonders about the wind stress and shearing imposed on those panels at highway speeds.

Honestly I'm worried about that too. I put gorilla glue on the brackets and screwed then down. I'm going to take it on the highway tonight and see what happens. I drove it around today and haven't seen any signs of stress. Just going to keep a close eye on it for awhile.
 
Next time it's windy find a place with no traffic and go full speed into the wind, maybe even on an empty highway middle of the night.

Guess I made a mistake. Anybody recommend a quality PWM controller? I took the picture off my friends balcony
 
Might be simpler to just put those panels on their own little controller to keep from mismatching the panels with your earlier ones.    I assume that's the issue the PWM/MPPT input referred to.

One benefit of the mounting the new ones on the front is that facing south you'd get some tilt advantage.
