The graphic uses cell phone locations as a proxy for whether people are respecting stay-at-home orders.

The conclusion? Stay OUT of the SE US, if at all possible. The upper midwest is also problematic. These places are likely candidates for where it's going to be next. We all know where it already is.

that is interesting. i read where Italians had a hard time staying at
home as well, which is one of the reasons they are dying in droves.
i guess it may be human nature to resist perceived "unreasonable" laws?

Another meaningless statistical correlation.

The places I am familiar with that are dark red (lots of Montana, Northwestern Minnesota), are very rural.  5-10 miles to the nearest neighbor, 50+ miles to the nearest grocery store.  Plus when you go out to check cattle, you are riding maybe 30 miles a day.

By this map New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle should be safer than Fergus or Petroleum counties in Montana.

I'll take my chances driving all day in my car than 1 mile on a NY subway.
