that is interesting. i read where Italians had a hard time staying at
home as well, which is one of the reasons they are dying in droves.
i guess it may be human nature to resist perceived "unreasonable" laws?
 
Another meaningless statistical correlation.

The places I am familiar with that are dark red (lots of Montana, Northwestern Minnesota), are very rural.  5-10 miles to the nearest neighbor, 50+ miles to the nearest grocery store.  Plus when you go out to check cattle, you are riding maybe 30 miles a day.

By this map New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle should be safer than Fergus or Petroleum counties in Montana.

I'll take my chances driving all day in my car than 1 mile on a NY subway.
