OK, as someone who actually has used that bed frame
It does not fold up, the two halves each fold in half for storage, but not in the right direction to make a chair of them, and they are held together by push on brackets that do not allow folding, at least not on the queen model
If you want it to fold into a couch, you'll have to bolt, rivet, or weld hinges on in the correct orientation, then see about a mattress system that will make that use full
if you manage that, you'll have a 27' seat and a 27" backrest, which unless you have very long legs, is going to be too deep to provide back support, unless you engineer some sort of spacer
find a friend with a twin bed, and try sitting on it, and you'll see what I mean, most folk's inseam is around 30-35 inches from crotch to ankle
any chance you could sit cross legged on the bed while coding?
I do have a very basic layout for a full size van using a full mattress, but it amounts to a full size bed with a toilet on one side at the foot, and the cooking area on the other side at the foot of the bed, you will have very little living space that way, although it might be worth oit for you for the big ol' bed
