83 chevy trans van

Hi I am a new comer here. I recently bought an 83 trans van but have been having trouble finding any info or fellow trans van owners any suggestions ?

Don't know of any on here. That doesn't mean there aren't some about here though. I've been looking for one for a long time. Finally gave up and bought a Bluebird WanderLodge FC-35 that I'm slowly fixing up. There should be a user group on the net though. Or try Yahoo groups.

yeah, I don't know that there's any other Trans Van owners on here, but there are ALOT of vanners and RoadTrek owners on here.

I've got an 82 Eldorado 24ft Transvan, on a Ford E350 chassis, with a gas hog 460 for an engine.

I'm in the middle of a major rework of it, had to replace 2/3 of the flooring and the support frame due to dry rot. Gutted the whole thing and am now building the inside MY WAY! Got rid of water heater,furnace, Genset, and AC. I do love the total fiberglass honeycomb shell, no roof leaks with it and it insulates very well.

I'm still living in the gutted shell, kind of interesting, but it keeps the rent down and encourages me to work on the beast.

Just ordered a Mustee shower enclosure to install, got it for $149 with free shipping, nice 32x32, size, hope to have it in and working next week.
