32K acres of newly accessible BLM and NF land accessible in Arizona

A bunch of previously inaccessible land was made accessible after pubic right-of-ways were secured for them. I don't know exactly where they are, but I'll probably check them out next Spring (I believe these lands are at soon-to-be too chilly altitude).

It gives easier access to wilderness land for hikers. BLM does not allow vehicles on wilderness land.

Likely the trailheads, at a minimum, will be on BLM land. One of the areas is near the New Mexico border in SE Az, the other South of Tucson. Noteworthy, no details were given of the precise locations.

Most importantly, the balance between sportsmen and outdoor interests is crucial to the management of all public lands. We, as a community, should be a recognized part of that responsible coaltion. Perhaps the biggest thing we can do is act as stewards of developing camp areas.
