I recently purchased a Roadpro 12 volt stove. It's the one that looks like a lunchbox. Does anyone else have one of these? If so, what are some good recipes?

wow Hobo Joe that's a blast from the past. you sure pulled that one out of a hat. highdesertranger

I used one for a year or so when I was traveling extensively and found a lot of slow cooker recipes work. Raw beef and pork are a bit iffy to me but recipes using precooked ham and such worked best for me. Check your meat with a thermometer so as to avoid the dreaded food poisoning.

I used one too when I worked on the road. Mostly ate a lot of frozen food. I found that the little foil pans were perfect to bake in and made for easy clean up.

Ha,   Do I detect a note of sarcasm?   Hobojoe

The dollar store has breaded chicken fingers.  On days I would go into town I would pop a package in the box and they were done when I finished my running around.

(Chickens have fingers?   )

Yeah, they should call them chicken arms... :p

no no HoboJoe, no sarcasm intended. I was referring to the date of the original post, nothing more. you must be doing your research. highdesertranger

I thought you were referring to the recipe.

That was the first thing I cooked in my Roadpro.    :D

Chili and smokeys, Beany Weenies, Tomato soup and rice w spam chunks.

No wonder my sodium levels went up!

I thought from the title that someone was trying to 'cook' electrons  :p

My one experience tasting electricity was that it is very bitter.

Hmmm......   I found it rather....  tangy.

After seeing all this, I need to invest in one of these 12VDC miniovens.

I'd say a 9v DC battery definitely tastes "tangy."

120v AC tastes something worse than bitter.
