How about using one of those little coolers – one made for a six pack. I actually have one that looks almost like a make up container. I would think that cosmetics and meds would stay enough cooler in a mini ice chest so you wouldn’t even need to put ice in it.

Regarding the safe parking manual: I think the $150 manual is for people who want to start up a safe parking program, not for the individual Parker’s. So it’s actually a business plan. I just get that information from reading the table of contents

A high top van. Yes, it would be awesome! I have a 1995 Dodge van that I love. I use it now for "trips" not "dwelling". Because of pretty severe arthritis in my hips, it's difficult to navigate in the low top van. The bending over part is pretty rough, and the kneeling part can also be painful...
