I think you're in for a huge surprise once you actually get out 'in it' as they say. I completely agree with the small utility trailer idea. Sounds like 'Adventure City' tho, and definitely keep a log of your trials and tribe.

I had just enough insulation to do the loft, the back wall, and the passenger side wall. Not the prettiest, but it'll keep me cooler this summer (and warmer next winter) and, to me, that's just peachy!

Now that its warming up I'm not so sure how much I really need a whole nother 3" layer of insulation, but I know next winter... I saw a big hawk on the line yesterday. Next time I'll get a pic!

Thanks my new friends. I think my 'amended' goal is going to have to involve getting a little closer to the gulf coast next Oct. Then, when spring rolls back around, I can head back up this way and keep rolling right through STL and on to Mt Rushmore. That's been one of my biggest bucket list...

Turns out it is the fuel pump. Semi-costly mistake. I don't know another way to get it fixed right now though. I'll tell ya what, though, even with paying $150 to have it towed over, I'm still only down half as much if I'd been paying rent the last six months, and I'm having a wonderful time. My...

Pretty good size, yes. Apparently one of the bigger ones according to the conversations I've had, and I actually stayed over 4 mos. Gone now, I'm sitting in front of the mech shop, and its snowing. At least I'm plugged in here and his WiFi signal reaches out to the camper.
