    24/7 Chat About Anything

You might want to try two old fashioned rubber cup toilet plungers, fairly cheap and gives a good grip.

Nature Lover and friends keep in touch

dust to dust is a wonderful concept. I was pro cremation until I read "Up in Smoke" by a funeral home worker. Yes, I do read stuff like this, lol. Cremation is bad for the environment and the ashes are toxic to the planet. So, my mind has been changed ... choosing a Green Burial. Basically...

Is there something like Airbnb for camping?

I am a member of Boondockers Welcome.  I have found it to be an amazing resource.  I, once, went across the country using only  Boondockers. I met some amazing people, usually have had an electric hookup and access to water.  I have hosted many international visitors to our country and have...

    Tail Veil....anyone have one ?

The Tail Veil survived high winds and hard rains.  It comes with extra stakes and I put them all in the ground in anticipation of the storm.  Worked well.  I haven't had the Napier up in high winds yet.  I stake out very tight and good stakes are your friend.  On the Napier I think the canopy...

    Tail Veil....anyone have one ?

I bought a Tail Veil to go on my Ford Transit Connect.  I used it for 30 days straight.  It is well made and comes with a rain fly.  Very easy for one person to put up and folds down into a small package.  You need to seam seal the seam where the floor attaches to the walls.  Only place I had...

    2015 Ford Transit Connect Build

Recon Campers did the pop top install.  On the return trip I camped in the desert outside of Ehrenberg, AZ for the night.  The pop top was everything I hoped for and more.  Easy to set up and take down.  All the room I could ever need.

    2015 Ford Transit Connect Build

We bought the van, used, from Carmax with 15,000 miles on it.  It is a long wheel base, 7 passenger van, with a back up camera, siruis radio, and all the upgrades.  Very happy with the buying experience and the van.  We had the van for a couple of months, deciding what and how we wanted to...

Hey everyone, looking for a company that can install a pop or lift top on a Ford Transit Connect or Dodge Promaster City.  Before I purchase the vehicle I want to know I can get a raised top on it.  I have found: www.gtrv.com/ http://www.coloradocampervan.com/ www.reconcampers.com I live...

    ARE Shell Build-Out

Yep, you can order them from Amazon.  Search shoe organizers.  I cut them into 4 sections and screwed them to the base of the beds.

    ARE Shell Build-Out

I ordered it from Amazon.  It is a Range Kleen SS2 step stool, gray, for $25.99. I added tread grip, from Lowe's, to the top of the stairs. It is made of heavy duty plastic and folds flat.  The specs say 300 lbs weight tolerance, but I have found you need to place your foot anywhere but in the...

    ARE Shell Build-Out

I realized I never posted the pics of the final project.  The build turned out very well for our purpose.  Everything worked as we hoped.  We made 2 corrections in the design-   1.  we did away with the big table and used a much smaller table  2. We changed the way the hatch panels under the...
