Good info. I'll be doing the same next spring and am using Bob's as a guide. From the windows to the rack on top for solar panels. Will build my own rack with another support in the center, my trailer is 6x12, but the base for panels and providing shade for the roof is a great idea.

Thanx, almost there. Gathering stuff for the conversion of my cargo tailer, portable toilet, fantastic fan, vent covers, etc. but can't start till next spring. Gotta get my nest (barn) built and use it moving, then get the fun of totally building it - from insulating to wiring, solar, windows...

Bought your book and couldn't find it about 6 months later so bought another one. Just reread it again and all fired up, plan on the RTR by 2016...

Will be based out of La. Have to establish home base(build my nest) then do a custom job on the trailer including solar. Hopefully be ready to roll by next summer.

67 days till retirement. Not that I'm counting. Been reading the blog and website for about 2 yrs and have learned so much. Have a cargo trailer 6x12 to convert like Bob's. Wouldn't know where to start without his website, so much useful info.
