Shaking hands with the California Mouse (Disneyland)

OK Disneyland is in Orange County, but not in LA, got it. Thanks I am sure we can find someplace to stay Last time we were in California (Northern) we were in an RV parked right next to my Dad. Then the management came out and said we could not be there because it was an adult only...

Shaking hands with the California Mouse (Disneyland)

So my partner wants to take the whole family down to Disneyland for Christmas, I do not relish the idea of driving the RV in the city streets. Who has stayed in LA and can suggest a decent priced campground (that would be happy to have teenagers) near the city. We plan on doing Disneyland...

    AC leaked overnight

Looks like it is loose bolts letting in the rain. But we are going to re seal the area around the a/c too. We have silicon to seal everything. It's just annoying, completely fixable but not what I wanted to deal with.

    AC leaked overnight

UGGH, if it's not one thing it is another with this RV, I am dripping water out of the a/c and the bedding got wet. Guess what I am spending the day doing? Laundry, heat, drying out RV, and seeing what I need to fix....GRRR... Hope you all are having a better day than I am. ;) Traci-Ann

    Seattle?

No rain in Seattle this week... just HOT. I like Seattle, (I 90 miles south) and the grey cloudy days do not get to me, but the damp does. I could just be getting old! I will say that you will never run out of things to do. The public transportation is manageable. (not the best, not the worse)...

    Portland Oregon RV park

For work I am going to be in the Portland area for a week, I just need a little RV park to plug in my new toy. Something safe (I haven't stayed in an RV park yet, but the ones around my home are filled with people who don't lend a safe feeling). Looking for about 35 a night with an electrical...

    Disabled discounts?

My state (Washington) offers my partner free camping in our state parks because he is a combat disabled vet. Oregon offers the same free camping in state parks. Looks like Federal parks are 1/2 camping site fees. We looked in to California, because that is where we want to head to this winter...

    totally new

Hello, My fiancee and I have talked for the past few years about getting an RV and living in it. Well on Saturday we bought our 1st RV. My Grandparents lived in an RV 3/4 of a year, and came home for winter. My father has an RV, my Mother and Step Father have RV's so I have *some* experience...
