I travel with two large well behaved dogs and I really fear breaking down with the pups on board. Can anyone share experiences about how to deal with this? You break down on the highway.... So the tow guy shows up and what if he wont tow if he finds out dogs are in the rig? Or he tows and...

Carnut, insulation is crucial to what ever type of vehicle you try to live in. Be sure you can add what ever insulating material you decide to use.

Bubble wrap does work.  It's in-expensive and easy to work with.  I took my reflextic down, taped up the bubble wrap and put the reflextic back up.  Worth the time, money and effort for sure.

I use plastic spaghetti sauce jars.&nbsp; Wide mouth and about a quart which for me will last the night easy.&nbsp; Every so often I spray what ever cleaner I have handy into it for odor control
