******* SOLD ********Location: Central California Purchased this VOKIM 15" x 15" x 9" Drop in Sink for our van kitchen galley but ended up purchasing another unit that was not as deep. This sink box was opened but the sink has never been used. We did set it in our galley opening but did not...

Dealer in scottsdale wants to sell 2022 ram TRKS R.Is this a rip off?

Very odd post. Who announces publicly how much money they are receiving and asks if a vehicle is a good deal but provides basically no info on vehicle?

    Ozone from Bluetti ACP200?

Glad to hear the panel is not the source. Sounds like you are on the right track.

    Ozone from Bluetti ACP200?

How far away is the two PV200 panels from your trailer door? I would smell the junction boxes on the panels (in the zipper pouch on the panels where your MC4 connector cables are attached to the solar panel) Smell each panel and see if this is the odor. I just repaired a Bluetti PV120 panel...

    Van Living Forum decal

Hi I realize everyone is a critic. Sorry, you did do a lot of nice work. My preference would be for a decal to accurately reflect the forum. I would use a "real" van picture or at least an outline of a real van. Using a comic strip van is not realistic enough for me, nor shows something...

Watching TV on iPAD via Coax?

That is a great idea. I had thought of using an existing 24" but I just am trying to keep things from getting to busy in the van. This might work though. The network tuners that they mention I am not seeing how they connect up to the iPAD however I did find one unit that has its own antenna...

Watching TV on iPAD via Coax?

Thank you Happy Camper. Makes sense. I guess I was hoping that maybe there was an iPad app that might take the video (TV) input and allow viewing.

Watching TV on iPAD via Coax?

I first searched and did not see an answer. On a rare occasion when camping at a private campground that has a cable tv hookup at the site (think coax cable to van or RV) has anyone found a converter (aka adapter) that takes the coax TV output at the campsite and allows the signal to pass to a...

    Break-in or theft

I use a CLUB on our camper. Happened to read this. Not sure how accurate. What Car Thieves Think of the Club June 8, 2010 By Stephen J. Dubner In so doing, we discuss the difference between two anti-theft devices for cars, the Club and LoJack. Because LoJack is a hidden device and thieves...

    If You Could

Wow! Such great words to our younger selves. Only thing I might add is worry less, enjoy the beauty of nature more and find the good in folks. Smile more. It just feels so good to have someone smile at you.

Pricey propane or solar shower or PVC on the roof?

When not using a simple solar shower, a Big Kahuna and a doggy pool work well inside the camper. Point the lower drain outlet towards the step inside the van and drain into a container(s)

Mounting my Propane tank on the back door?

Be sure to check your local laws. I also have an Express and my understanding was it couldn't be installed on a hitch rack at least in California. Maybe up high though is fine. If you mount yours be sure to post how you did it. I have 2 brand new 5lb tanjs I would like to mount.

Seeking advice on a Chevy Express / GMC Savana

I would hold off and see if you could do better with a newer lower mileage van. Like someone else mentioned, it's all about how the van was treated in those 150K miles. From the Express van forum, most (not all) are ready for a transmission at that mileage. Be willing to travel for the right...

    Pop top or not?

I highly recommend Fiberine near Long Beach California. If that is to far, I have also heard good things about Tuffport. They show starting at 4895.00. They install in West City Utah or in British Columbia. For a pop top for your van, there is Sportsmobile in Texas, Indiana and Phoenix...

    Solar Generator possible issue

In the past, I was able to get through to someone and they were very helpful. However, that was 8 months ago. While they should always answer the phone and reply to support emails, you could also try joining their Community Forum. There are some very knowledgeable folks (not employees) that...

    Pop top or not?

We went from a pop top truck camper (Four wheel Camper brand) to a raised fiberglass top with 6' 4" in interior height. For us, the only benefit with a soft pop up was a bit better mileage. I got tired of raising the top (heavy) which had a rack and several solar panels on top. It was heavy...

    Van build oops!

True! So far if everything is wired and fused correctly there is no blown fuses to replace.
