    Fantastic Fan, Minivan Placement Location?

Not totally sure what your layout is going to look like, but my general rule of thumb is put the fan above the bed. Gives me a nice breeze while im trying to sleep. Although I could also see an argument for putting above wherever you plan to cook (if you ever plan to cook indoors).

Question about Voltage from Solar Panels

Thanks for the advice! Should I be wiring them in series? Would that be more efficient?

Question about Voltage from Solar Panels

Hey everyone! I just installed my first solar setup and I wanted to run some things by you guys to make sure I didn't mess anything up. I have 2 100 Watt Renogy Solar Panels, a 200aH Renogy Sealed Battery, and a Rover Elite Charge Controller. I live in Phoenix Arizona, and currently the peak...

How do you guys do chairs in your (Low roof) Vans?

Hey all,  I have a Chevy Express 3500 with just a standard van roof that I am planning to live out of. I work online teaching English and do some freelance writing, as a result I spend many hours a day sitting in a chair. My current office chair will not fit in my van, so I was wondering if...

    Van Update! Need some Advice..

Hello again everyone! It’s been awhile since my last update but the Van has been coming along nicely so far! I had a question for you guys about the gaps between my ceiling and my walls, how would you guys cover that up? I can’t really drill into it since there’s no ribs, and it’s too uneven to...

    Question about subfloor

That really simplifies things, thanks! It's clear I was making this more complex than it needed to be lol  For the underlayment, does that go between the plywood and the laminate?Or between the plywood and the floor of the van itself?

    Question about subfloor

Makes sense, thanks for the advice! Is there anything I can do to even out the floor before putting the plywood down? Or does that not really matter? I don't want my floor to flex or squeak too much if I can help it

    Question about subfloor

Hey folks!  I’ve been building out my van for the past few weeks and I’ve gotten to the floor part of my build! I installed noico sound deadener on the floor of the van and was wondering what I can do to make sure my floor is even without damaging the sound deadener? Would screwing through the...

Bought A Van!! Have a few Questions!

Got it! I was thinking maybe using some duct material and building a vent into the wall to have it come out of? That way I can choose where the air ends up going

Bought A Van!! Have a few Questions!

Thanks for the advice! Would using the blower in the back drain my car battery too fast? I'm trying to decide if I want to take it out before I start doing walls etc

Bought A Van!! Have a few Questions!

Do you think its something that needs to come out? Or could I use it as a space heater while the van is idling?

Bought A Van!! Have a few Questions!

Hey everyone! Finally bought my van, it’s a 2017 Chevy Express 3500. It’s an old border patrol van and has a few quirks that I was hoping to get some more info on. Firstly, it seems to have spray foam insulation already applied, I’ve attached pics and was wondering if anyone knows if it looks...

What Qualifies as a "Reliable" Class C?

Is that something I'll be able to smell or feel? What should I be looking out for when I check out a used RV?

6'2 and Looking for Sleeping Solutions

Thanks for the detailed reply! You make a lot of good points, I was going for the fixed queen bed just for the sake of convenience, but your bunk idea is really cool, I'm gonna try and sketch that out later today!

What Qualifies as a "Reliable" Class C?

Hey folks,  For quite a while I was pretty dead set on building out a van, but lately I've been tempted by Class C's. The ability to stand up is a nice perk, and I plan to be in campgrounds most of the time anyway (Thousand Trails), so stealth isn't much of a concern of mine. That said, I have...

Best Internet Solutions for US Nomads?

What kind of booster do you use? Do you ever have any trouble finding a tower inthe distance to point at? My worry with a directional antenna is that if I cant see a tower I could have even worse signal than if I had just used an omnidirectional antenna

6'2 and Looking for Sleeping Solutions

I've thought about trailer! Just have no idea where to start with those at the moment. I know a Class A is way too much vehicle for me, and I can't find a good place to find used Class C's.
