Maybe flipping the mattress every couple of days would help with moisture problem. When I had a memory foam mattress in my condo I found it extremely hot to sleep on and it made me sweat.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I have several wool blankets which I’m going to test out as the weather gets colder. My goal is not to be in the cold but I do know it gets cold in the desert at night.

I would say 103-105 degrees. Buy a thermometer to check the temp before getting in. People have died going in hot springs that are too hot. Think bath water that is perfect.
