Best mifi hotspot for boondocking YouTube creator

Downside of the Verizon PrePaid is that the Unlimited plan does not include Hotspot data of any kind (previous unlimited plan included Hotspot, but even then, only at 3G speeds)... The lower data-capped plans appear to include hotspot, but they're pretty limited data buckets for a YouTube...

Verizon MVNOs for $5 3G refugees

Connecting to a travel router by wifi tethering from a phone is effectively using a wifi repeater, which generally cuts bandwidth in half... I use a travel router a lot (TP Link...

Verizon MVNOs for $5 3G refugees

Verizon MVNOs for $5 3G refugees

That's a new one to me...iPhone only though, which leaves me saying no thanks. One device at a time can tether via iPhone hotspot - but it supports unlimited hotspot (for that one device at a time) and unlimited data at max 5Mbps.  Good plan for some people...

    PCs for People Hotspots

I have their Franklin 910 as well, and it works great. Nice thing to know about this device, is you can remove the battery and run it from the power cord if you're going to be using it in one spot for a while. Saves wear and tear on the battery and is one of the few hotspots you can do this...

Google Voice over WiFi and/or data How To ?

Not sure if anybody cares about this, but I thought I'd try to clarify how Google Voice and Hangouts are actually quite different... GV always uses carrier minutes and requires an active cellular voice account on the phone you're using. It routes all outgoing voice calls through a Google Voice...
