I simply put my poop into bags made to hold adult diapers. Smell free. Inexpensive. Get hundreds at a time on amazon.

Thanks Suanne. great information.  Also, I found some relatively inexpensive odorless bags on amazon that are used for Adult Diapers. One of those will hold several poos until I find a place to discard. But I think I'll try the metal canister once these bags are gone. ($$$)
