Renogy 100w compatible with rockpal 1300?

Quote from the user manual: IMPORTANT NOTE: When solar recharging your Rockpower 1300, take note of the voltages of the solar panels. Individual solar panels, or solar panels chained in series in excess of 26V cannot be used with the Rockpower 1300 and can cause serious damage to the unit. This...

    Netflix and VPN

I don't know if this would work for Netflix but there is an extension for Firefox called "Location Guard". There used to be a streaming service called "Locast" that streamed TV stations from about three dozen cities in the US. To watch any of the stations you had to be located within the market...

It appears that the $25 plan is if you set up four phones and port over the phone numbers. If this is not the case please furnish a link.

Almost Free No Data Caps Internet T.V. And Movies

It's a bit of a gray area. Here's a quote posted on "The Verge": "The company says that the locked-in Party Pay discounts for the Visible Unlimited plan will last “for as long as we support the plan and the cloud network structure.” While that phrasing basically lets the company pull the plug...

Ok, I'm pullin' the trigger on a power station........

It looks great, but in my opinion overkill. The center cross piece that goes gutter to gutter is not needed. Also the boards that go front to back are not needed. The solar panel frames are not going to flex. Panel glass is tempered so even if they did flex they would not break.

Almost Free No Data Caps Internet T.V. And Movies

I have had Visible for three years and it has worked great. Visible has changed their plans. They now have two plans. One is $30/month and the other is $45/month. They no longer have the $25/month Party Pay. The Party Pay plan will continue for people that currently have the plan...

    About my charge controller

VOC (Voltage Open Circuit). This is the voltage that the panel produces when nothing is connected to it.

    Solar panel wiring

Your charge controller needs to be an MPPT type and capable of handling the voltage of 3 series connected panels which would be a minimum of about 125 volts. The controller should be installed as close to your batteries as possible and should not be in the same compartment as the batteries if...

    Solar Panels Sitting Idle

Leaving the panels disconnected is not a problem. I would NOT suggest using a pressure washer. A mild solvent such as paint thinner (mineral spirits) or alcohol applied with a rag would be a better option for removing the tree sap.

Occasional Mobile Solar ? Best Battery Life Questions

The safest approach would be to discharge the battery to at least the 75% state of charge and disconnect the battery.

    12V Cordless Tool Recharging

Your use is a good example where a linear regulator is best, but when higher current is required or when the output voltage needs to be higher than the input voltage the only option is a DC-to-DC converter. Here's a link to an article that explains the differences...

    12V Cordless Tool Recharging

The typical voltage regulator is a linear device and the most inefficient approach. For instance, if you need 9 volts at 5 amps you would be consuming 60 watts from the 12 volt source to generate 45 watts for the 9 volt device. The excess 15 watts is dissipated in heat. You would be much better...

Seeking advice on mobile Hotspots and Visible phone service

I've had Visible for a couple of years and it is my only phone and internet provider. Here's a bit of info: Visible is owned by Verizon but acts like a separate company. Since it is owned by Verizon it uses Verizon towers and it does not roam. Cost of the service is $40/mo for unlimited...
