Bulk charging stage: What determines amps in?

Hi all - What is the factor that determines how many amps are delivered to my 12V Lifeline AGM battery bank during BULK charging stage? I use a 12V, 120A 3-stage charger, but during BULK stage, my battery bank is only receiving ~50 amps. Thanks!

Hey Everyone, My name is kendra

Welcome, KENDRA!! I'm so glad we have a decent gender mix here. It's a great, and growing tribe, and I invite you to attend a RTR (Rubber Tramp Rendezvous). The online forum is invaluable, but meeting up with community in the flesh is immensely enriching and connection-building :)

Selling all my belongings, opinions needed please!

True. I've itemized for years, being self-employed. As such, I pay an accountant $400 to do my taxes. I just handover my quickbooks file. He does the rest. But I'm sure an accountant can be found for less $, who's willing and able to itemize one's tax return.

Selling all my belongings, opinions needed please!

My favorite method: tax-deductible donations. I've done several rounds of massive offloading of stuff this way. Really nice stuff. The nice thing is, you can write-in the value of those items yourself. If any one item is worth more than (I think) $5k, you're supposed to get an appraisal. I don't...

Info On Olympian Wave 3000 heater

I sold my Wave 3000 after its first use. It was slow to create heat, but quick to produce condensation, which can cause lots of problems and discomfort. Especially when the sun hits your windows in the am and starts converting window ice into vapor. Steambaths as my alarm clock = not my fav. Not...

List of cities that ban sleeping in vehicles?

Check out www.overnightrvparking.com. This guy is quite knowledgeable on cities who've passed ordnances against it. It's also where I learned that your friendly neighborhood RV park association(s) actively LOBBY town to outlaw sleeping in a vehicle. They LITERALLY even provide the towns with a...

    ..just... Wow

Curvy, shiny cabinets. Made possible merely by plywood bending forms, a vacuum press bag, and fancy boat varnish. 1/32"-thick exotic veneer extra. All told, one would need to invest $2k in equipment. Assuming one has the smarts and patience to create the design to begin with. So no, for me...

    Open alcohol laws and dealings

To me, the key is: where we're the open containers? My guess is right up front in the cab where the cop could see them. And more importantly, where driving happens. Also, this is yet another reason I like beer koozies - They hide the contents :)

    "Saturday Night Palsy"

Pls see a doctor. I have arm numbness at night from sleeping on them. Made worse by bursitis. Different sleeping postures for me a result of sleeping in a different parking spot each night, never quite level in any consistent way. Cheapest bet: experiment with posture, pillows each night. Good...

    Shower pan

I drew up plans and had a metalworker weld one out of SS. But if you used marine ply, and waterproof glue, you could prime it with marine epoxy primer and then marine varnish. Then just lay down a rubber non-slip tub mat to minimize wear on the finish. Should work well for many many years.

    We broke up

I'm sorry, Cheli - must be incredibly difficult. But I have a sense you'll be stronger and more courageous. That was my experience, anyway. Hope to meet you on the road someday :)

Gripe about my first Walmart overnight parking

Just bad luck. Won't always happen. You could also just start the engine and move to a different part of the lot. It'd startle the kids, who will likely leave soon after anyway. Curfew ;)
