Greetings from the Republic of Ireland!

Hi and welcome. I'm no expert but I believe you can get a six-month travel visa. Check with the American consulate nearest you but I'm pretty sure you can.

    Solar or not?

While a starter battery for a house battery is not the best idea, it's what you have so you need to make the best of it--you've already paid for it, so you may as well get the most use out of it you can. The best way to do that is to get as much solar as you can afford and, like tx2sturgis...

Down the Charge Controller Rabbit Hole...

I'm actually a fan of multiple controllers for redundancy, I have that right now, however, I don't think it is the most common one. In my experience, by far most people run their panels in parallel into a single properly sized controller. Every situation is different, chose what works best for...

Thoughts or experience with this battery?

Be honest with yourself, if you won't take care of them by regularly checking the water, AGM is a far better deal.

Looking for a legal residential address in Arizona

I'd go to Coyote Howls and rent a space. $500 for the year but it is a totally legal space, you'll never be questioned about it.

$7 120v AC personal fan vs $200 MaxxAir DC vent

This is only true if is there is hot versus cold air in the van. I don't think there is. I think it's all the same. If it's all the same temperature, why does it rise? I don't think it does. The most important thing is simply square inches of opening and that 14 x 14 on the roof is pathetic...

Help me choose a 4 Season Tent

Where will you spend winters? If in the desert you will regret any wall tent. Get a tipi tent. It does everything well. I's also recommend the Kifaru.

    Tulsa to RTR, I-40, I-10 or ???

In January I'd take I-40 to I-25 then I-10 across. Unless the weather is just extraordinary, I'd avoid northern AZ.

    RTArtCamp 2018

I think the wind rules out Tyvek. I use Coroplast for signs but be sure you get grommets in it, then you can use zip ties to attach it to whatever you use as posts.
