Seriously, so you want to be in love again...

OK, I'm with my "last wife" (her words) for over 25 years and counting... She understands a tradesman and he's usually gotta fix it himself. But she still picks out and order stuff she wants herself. Surgeries have been expensive suprises. Knees, a hip and gall stone. Then she got dizzy and fell...

I want to make sure I have this correct.

Don't stock up in advance. Save your money and keep working on your changing plans. You will likely find an easy way to protect each panel. Perhaps one circuit of each panel can serve as it's main fuse instead of an external fused switch. They are rarely rated for disconnecting under load anyway.

I want to make sure I have this correct.

Watch Will Prowse videos and pick something. But solar is asource that needs a disconnect plug at each panel. Then fuses at the batteries and everywhere the MPPT charger instructions say to. Do not risk heat fires from bad or loose connections. You are going to shake it all the time you move.

How few Watts of solar to charge a 55 Amp/Hr AGM in 5 days?

No sense trying to skip your math. Need to calculate from what you want it to do backwards and consider the local weather and solar for your location. But it will die if you don't keep a charge on it. Get batteries for how you will use them. You will prefer hauling Lithium ion on Anderson plugs...

"200 watts" of solar doesn't seem to generate anywhere near 200W, is this just normal

Oh I definitely agree. It's also hard to believe anything that is only used to sell something. Even the reviews they list can be manipulated. But seriously, it's a meaningless hype word for an unknown assembly of optionions in a box. You need to go through all the specs with a lot of salt.

Transit Connect (2016) Renogy DC DC Charger Install

Oh, and fused systems work to prevent fires. Other rigs were not so lucky. Maybe they had improper terminations too.

Transit Connect (2016) Renogy DC DC Charger Install

The only way I think a 25 A fuse would blow before a 20A charger is you made a bad crimp that heated up. Please fix the bad connections and use gromets before you drive it far.

How much power do I need starting out?

I bought it years ago for my car. https://uedata.amazon.com/Coleman-Powerworks-150-Watt-Inverter-CMPW150/dp/B000PF7SPA

How much power do I need starting out?

TTY. Still beats the 40" or so cabin doors on boats. The only other ideas are made from steel cabinet drawer slides or unistrut. I expect I'll have to reconsider and use 3 pcs per slide to fully extend. But that will depend on steel ball bearings in the weather.

    Greetings and a first question

He was a building contractor in a improvised shanty. But he didn't have any electric run to his shed and the generator on site wasn't run at night. It's amazing what we can do or carry in bit by bit.

How much power do I need starting out?

Sounds like you only need a $35 Coleman true sine wave inverter. It runs off the 12 volt lighter socket to provide 2 USB ports and a 120 volt ac. Get used to that power formula. You can't cook or just run on batteries for days on end. But it could be enough for a long while.

How much power do I need starting out?

Can I get some HD pix and notes of that slide out? I need to work out something that slides out up to 9 feet.

    Greetings and a first question

Actually, the better the cooler, the less extra insulation does for you. I still wonder how it all stacks up against the foam board insulation sealed into a box or cabinet with a can of spray foam sealant. He wasn't a camper. But said it was all he needed at that location. He also hated bringing...

Can Police Search Your RV Without a Warrant?

AND always show respect for police by not crowding them when they stop someone else and practice doing it all completely right for the few minutes they actually look at you. You can be sloppy later.

    Making our way.

I am a well experienced electrician that has worked in nearly every concievable part of my trade with out taking out much time to travel or look around. Now, with my wife of over two decades we have become increasing more than tired of our demanding land-locked ways. So, when we stumbled onto...
