    Black hills gold.

According to the Lakota Indians the sculptor bought all that property from the government and that is where the Lakota Indians wanted the monument to be built so it's not desecrating another mountain to create a monument any more than it was when they made Mount Rushmore. That's where the...

    Black hills gold.

We were at Crazy Horse Memorial and didn't really see any Black hills gold and they really find no value in gold other than is being stripped from their land, most of the items we saw in the gift shop were silver. Understand where you coming from about perpetuating the problem and are looking...

    Should I fix it?

It's now fixed and running smoothly. My next task when I return to home base in October is to remove my catalytic converter and got it. Unfortunately there's nothing hooked up to the converter electronic wise since my truck is 33 years old and confirmed with muffler shops that getting it isn't...

    MacGyvering Vs. buying the win.

One of our little life hacks is rubbing alcohol. Obviously you can use it for wounds but did you know that you can also use it to kill insects on the spot for the most part. And being a nomad and in your vehicle all the time who doesn't get a heat rash well if you catch it early enough rubbing...

    Black hills gold.

My wife and I just got through spending two weeks the Black hills around Custer South Dakota. We had an opportunity to speak to a number of native Americans in the Lakota tribe and we're shocked at what we learned. Apparently the US government had a treaty agreement with the Indians that made...

All National Forest Land in California CLOSED

The forest service is seriously underfunded, climate change isn't helping with everything going on around the country. And not to get political but the last administration cut funding even further for the forest service. When you cut funding to the organization that's in charge of putting out...

    What we do

Thanks for the other groups and info, I used to be a volunteer s.a.r. member of my local emergency management department until they had gone against my wishes of no recognition and published my photo in the local paper. I will be checking into the other organizations mentioned above. I...

    What we do

The website when we joined 4 years ago was a little more up-to-date and useful to its members. The designer / founder is no longer in charge of the site. He was one of the people that took things too far and now he's doing life in prison. The website is merely there now for people to look at to...

    What we do

Admittedly the original founder was a little out there but the individuals took it to mean helping out your fellow people that site was merely a way for people to connect and form their own groups. Sometimes somebody has some sort of intentions like John Crockett and Ernest Walton who simply...

keeping medicines at right temperature on the road

Fortunately for us my wife's medication does not need refrigeration. However her vitamins of choice were gummy vitamins and they got hot and melted into one big clump. The use of a cooler with ice or ice packs sounds like the best way to go.

You're very correct in your statement, we do contact the local emergency management department in effected areas that we respond to in order to best help where we can. Thanks for your response. It's always been our mission to help and not hinder the efforts of larger, more organized groups in...

    What we do

Agreed, disaster areas are generally closed off to the public. What our group does is start with the areas mainstream rescuers don't get to right away, we've experienced this while responding to a tornado stricken area a couple years back. Our group is small but well trained and experienced. We...
