Maki, thats an impressive resume, regardless of gender. I admire your ambition to keep learning new skills. One of my philosophies has alwas been that "Learning is living". I think I may have to pick your brain when I start my build, if you don't mind. I have always wanted to incorporate some...

    Hot Showers

Might I suggest a garage door pulley and a length of rope? Use a xxxl carabiner clip ($.99 @ Harbor Freight] to hang the pulley and rope, then hoist and tie off to something. Pulley: https://www.lowes.com/pd/DURA-LIFT-5-in-Gold-15-Gauge-Steel-Garage-Door-Pulley/1001417036

Carpet In Cargo Van - Mold Risk?

I would consider doing some kind of waterproof rubber flooring as your bottom layer directly against the metal. You can always top it with throw rugs or indoor/outdoor carpet. The rubber would add a bit of thermal break as will as protection from spills. Those same stores may sell the fitted...

    24/7 Chat About Anything

I feed ferals around my area. A rubermaid tote, sans lid, on its side works well as a feeding station. Rubermaid totes, with lids and straw, make great shelters. Just cut an entrance and a smaller escape hatch on opposite sides, and duct tape the larger hole scrap over the smaller hole on the...

Installing a curtain rod for black out curtains

Maybe you can use some Command Strips and solid backed plastic closet rod cups? It should provide enough of a lip, even at an angle, to hold your curtain rod up. If you pop the endcaps off the rod you can always put a screw (in the reverse direction from normal) from the outside of the cup into...

Buy And Register Vehicle in AZ?

I would also check into Nevada as a state of residency. I believe there may be a tax benefit as well. Most of AZ has a 10% sales tax, fyi. When I moved out there to AZ last year they required an ORIGINAL birth certificate at AZDOT. They tried to tell me that my NY birth certificate wasn't the...

    Cummins Canoe (A Stepvan Story)

There's always the simple butterfly vent in stainless https://www.etrailer.com/Enclosed-Trailer-Parts/Polar-Hardware/PLR24-002.html or aluminum https://www.etrailer.com/Enclosed-Trailer-Parts/Polar-Hardware/PLR24-004.html Or this style with louvers also to be more weather resistant...

    Hot Showers

A few years ago I got a bar that expands and contracts made for hanging clothes across the backseat. It had hooks to attach to the grab handles. Somehing like that with a shower curtain with some magnets to keep the curtain to the door might work well. Or even just a 1" curtain tension rod of...

    Be Prepared

A cup or two of oatmeal works great in meatloaf. It absorbs all the yummy juices and flavors and makes a lb of meat go much further and be much less dense. Just add about 1/2 again as much seasoning or it may end up a bit bland.

    How to attach.......

I know you are talking about attaching a table but would something like this folding banquet table for $40 work for your purpose? It can also double as a picnic table when/if necessary. And you wouldn't have to empty it off if you need to drive somewhere. Sorry for the stupidly long link...

    Lion Energy Safari Lithium Batteries

I have no practical experience in using them. Only what I see on the interwebs. However: The LION batteries get high marks by many on YT. as good as or better than the BattleBorns. Check out Jared Tocci' channel, I know he talked about the Lion brand ones in a number of his vids. His friends at...

    Cummins Canoe (A Stepvan Story)

Kurbmaster, something like this vent from etrailer? https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Vents-and-Fans/Ventline/V2084.html Though I dont think that vent has a way to open or close airflow. Wonder if it could be easily modified with a sheet metal flapper like a flue? Or add a traditional hvac damper on...

    Cummins Canoe (A Stepvan Story)

PoG, maybe you can tightly insulate around the fridge and use 2 more of the vents you previously used by the front passenger seat. Heat transfer into cabin would be minimized. One installed at bottom and one at top to provide airflow as per bullfrog. You can partially of fully open or close the...

Crofter's Online discussion and check in chat includes any health condition

Don't forget to check for paper napkins or tissues, they can be a fair substitute for tp, if it's all you can find, if you can find it.
