Highdesertranger, you go me to thinking. You're right, the electronic OD came in late '93 and all were electronic by '94. Well, I made a mistake, I transposed the 9 and the 7....my van is a 1979 and not a '97, thus, 350 trans. Sorry, Joe.

Had a motor/trans replacement at one time according to the P.O. Will know more about it later.

Just picked up an old, 1979 Chevy Trans van and in the process of rebuilding it. Has a leak and P.O. used silicone on it. Any suggestions?
