Woodburning Stove Great But LEG Caution

I just got a small woodburning stove that so far I love but I want to send out a word of caution so someone doesn't get hurt like I did.  I have fixed the problem and will be sending the info the the manufacturer.  First off - the fix is just awesome, so much better. I got the Siliverfire Tent...

    Chiliheads - Comments Please

JD - what post changed? I ate rattlesnake once. I have A LOT of relatives in Texas and we used to travel there every summer. All the relatives took vacations at the same time and we met up here and there for 2 weeks. One day we're all together and they have this GIANT pot outside under a...

Anyone worried about being exposed to 5G waves?

If anyone truly wants 5G, snakes or anything else not to harm them check out the Bruce Lipton videos on YouTube - there are some new ones. I love Bruce. I've been metaphysical since the early 70's thanks to Jane Roberts and Seth. Love Lipton's snake venom story.

LOL, I just read my pervious post on the thread above and see that I mentioned it here. Well, I thought the memory was getting better .....

Wow, you read that already? The blog post I just mentioned it in? I'm doing a review now to post in the morning. A real review along with a warning about the legs. But I love this oven, it's a Silverfire multi-purpose tent dragon - that's what it's called.

One interest out of 75 does not sound popular at all. Maybe down the road a year or so. On another note, my wood burning stove came this afternoon so tomorrow I am going to try to make bread in it. I wonder if I can get the temp up to 400+ and maintain it using small wood (that's all that...

Hearing there is interest is good enough for now. It would take a bit to organize but could be a lot of fun and they can raise money. BLM land we can't do that but I bet if it got going someone with private land might be able to host it. Of course, there is insurance and all that. We could...

    Chiliheads - Comments Please

No meat eaters, eh?  I was serious about fund raising ideas, especially since the non-profit aspect and raising money to buy parts/home on wheels, etc.  But if you've never been to a chili cookoff, or if you have and it was a bad one, this isn't in your experience.  They can be a lot of fun. I...

    Trailer roof maintenance

Any idea what it would cost to put something like that on a cargo trailer roof? I've been wondering lately about roof wear down the road. Right now I'm thinking more about hail storm damage though and making a cover. I have tons of materials as I've saved every awning top, tent rain fly, mesh...

Vandwelling is cool, but stealthing = homeless?

Homeowners pay property taxes and renters pay them via rent. The money pays for roads, police, sidewalks, stoplights and all such things. Property values are based on areas and the taxes higher. I understand a Malibu homeowner getting pissed because a stranger makes home in front of their...

    Chiliheads - Comments Please

I'm looking for some dirt shoveling, rock kicking ok-to-put-rattlesnake in the chili kind of foiks and inviting them to get to know me.   My webpage is my name dot com and I ask you to look for today's post, April 22.  I'd like some comments and I guess I'll know what kind of chilihead you be by...

If You Tow Or Want To Tow

I am going to revisit this. I have found that there is a limited timeframe my brain allows me to contemplate the towing question and by the time I get back to it I have to start all over!

    Cargo Conversion Progress / Winter

That's a nice setup for someone under 40.  Ha ha.  Not with 2 replaced hips, nope LOL.   I am very excited, the water tank and mattresses arrived so now we can finalize the design.

    Dress Rehearsal Time !!

Thanks. I just ordered two Narrow Twin Tri-fold beds to put side by side with 5" gel memory foam. They are 30" wide by 75" long. A twin is 38" wide and two of those would be 76" (too wide for what we want to do) and a full is only 54" wide. These Narrow Twin sizes give us 60" wide or 6"...

    6x10 cargo trailer conversion/remodel

Paint comes in all colors! As a nomad you might get bored, buy a brush and get creative. There is a ton of stuff you can do down the road. Happy trails and congrats.

    Dress Rehearsal Time !!

So much still to do but yesterday and today I put almost everything in the trailer that will be coming so we can double check space before putting up the partition walls and shelving.  Good idea.  Everytime I do this I find better ways to fit things.  Today was a biggie - a change in the bed...

Want 6v Trojan AGM Deep Cycles - help?

I just went to batteries plus website and they only offer Trojan replacement batteries so I will look elsewhere. First I have to finish the weight project. Weight Project In Color I found a box of colored chalk the big kind for sidewalk drawing. Had picked up a box last year on a whim at...

Want 6v Trojan AGM Deep Cycles - help?

Oh - wrong column. 1.89 was an energy rating. The 20-Ah is 315. So these are good if I got 4 if I have the weight for them and the funds?
