Hey Ranger, I had considered that but I have the real estate for a permanent set-up and decided to go that route. If i was doing a van or the like i would absolutely utilize a hoop system.  Thank very much for taking the time to help.. James

Hey, I was literally thinking the exact thing, 7x16 CTC and use metal but I am concerned about condensation during lower temps. Of course I will do all I can to refresh air and use dehumidifying strategies but I will likely not go the metal route in the end.
