    Interesting Option for Insulating

    Maybe my post wasn't clear, it was the heavily insulated van that was the EZ Bake Oven. My current uninsulated van is much more comfortable. Insulation holds the heat in in the summer, and the cold in in the winter, which is exactly the opposite of what I want to be comfortable.

    I'm at a total loss for words here. I have a high top with a totally uninsulated fiberglass top. It costs me $50-$60 per year for heating and cooking. About half the year it is below freezing at night, and 30-60 days per year never get above freezing. Heating and cooling this tub is so easy...

    Solar power and electricity very well explained.

    I see a lot of pro solar on this site, in complete contrast to what I read elsewhere. My solar didn't work, and according to other boondocking sites its rubbish and the solution is an AC/DC generator to charge your batteries. Thats what I use now. Let's get both sides, not just who likes it...

    Who needs solar?

    Who needs solar? NOBODY! Youtube is full of video's of people who have spent days or weeks with no power because they were sold a bill of goods about solar just like I was. With solar you need a generator, without solar you need a generator, which means you don't need solar to start with...
