    photography

Photoshop is the best, but its quite pricey. There are a few free programs that you can play with to get your feet wet. Google these: Photoscape, Paint.net, Gimp. Picnik is a free online editor which is really neat to play around with too. You can look on youtube for tutorials on how to use...

    found a bus .

If you haven't committed to the bus yet, I have another suggestion. Buses that have already been converted or partially converted are at really decent prices. I've seen them at your price range on ebay and craigslist.  We got ours for $2500 and all we had to do was some updating...

What is the next organized step after buying a van?

Living in FL you are going to want some a/c aren't you?&nbsp; Wouldn't insulation help keep cool air in? We're living in a bus and I wish we had gone for more insulation than what we did. Of course it could be different for a van, I'm just learning about those.<div><br></div>

Laundry by hand, wring out clothes the easy way.

I know a lot of folks do their laundry by hand on the road. I thought I'd share this video I found which should make wringing clothes sooo much easier:&nbsp;<div><br></div><div><a href="" target="_blank"></a></div>

    fold up Loo

<div>I don't know if they would allow that kind of demo on Youtube lol&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Here is something similar...&nbsp;<a href="" target="_blank"></a></div>

    Toilet cloths

Your idea is good for sustainability if you live in a home but idk for the road. Whatever works for you is what you should do. But if you ever change your mind about your approach, and you are adamant about not flushing toilet paper, just throw the tp in the garbage can and toss that away daily...

    fold up Loo

You might be able to find a video about one of these on Youtube. Lots of manufacturers have started to put demo videos up and other folks will give their reviews.

    E-cigarette business?

<div>Its a great idea. There are never enough "local" places selling the products. As you travel around and introduce folks to the product, they will order from you. Get a cheap/free website like Wix.com. Use craigslist for every new city/town that you go to. Try to get on Google maps somehow...

    An unusual idea

Great feedback all around. I too thought of the things that Steve brought up, so no hard feelings there. Autism is very complicated, and its easy to have fears about what could happen, what he can and can't accomplish, hell, even what he wont want to accomplish&nbsp;<img border="0"...

    Hello everybody

    We've been really researching homeschooling/unschooling. Your story is just one more positive experience that I've heard about it. This is&nbsp;definitely&nbsp;the route we'll be taking when we are able to get rolling.&nbsp;

    An unusual idea

Its nice to see I'm not the only one thinking this way. I feel better lol, now I can show my husband the thread and say see, I'm not the only one&nbsp;<img border="0" align="absmiddle" src="https://vanlivingforum.com/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif">

New Air Conditioner for the Stealth Van

What a good idea. We have one in the bus as a back up for those really hot FL days, but I'd never thought of using one in a van. It does work great and no cutting holes to exhaust it.

    An unusual idea

Hey all, I think I've come up with a rather unusual idea, but I thought I'd share and get some feedback from folks who are into the lifestyle. My husband thinks its strange and&nbsp;impractical&nbsp;but I don't think so.<div><br></div><div>I've been thinking lately how things are getting much...

    Hello everybody

Thanks again guys! Really glad I found the site and can't wait till the day I convince my husband to downsize to a van.&nbsp;<img border="0" align="absmiddle" src="https://vanlivingforum.com/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif">&nbsp;I do enjoy the bus, but its still more than I'd like to own. Hello everybody

Thanks!<div><br></div><div>There are a multitude of reasons why we aren't able to be on the road at the moment. I really think it would do wonders for my son to be out there. We'll hit the road as soon as we're able.&nbsp;<img border="0" align="absmiddle"...

    Free

Is there any place you've always wanted to see/go but never had the chance until now? If you really have free time pick any random route, go to google, type in places of interest along that route. Take your time if you can and enjoy!

    Hello everybody

Thought I'd say hi, tell you a little about me.<div><br></div><div>Currently I live in a converted bus (altho quite stationary at the moment) with my husband and 10 year old son. Finances sort of thrust our living situation upon us, but I was more than happy to it considering I've always been...
