Not an RV, just food for thought...

Coroplast shelter's are pretty cool, just being tall and frail, that would be a nightmare to live in, even in an emergency situations. :s Bed is so low to the ground!

    Grumman Olson Step Van build

You're probably right, it really just depends on the full weight conversion ratio, which I am unaware with this particular engine (or most engines in general for that matter.) Call me a pessimist, but I prefer to underestimate just in case!

    Grumman Olson Step Van build

I imagine the nice 17mpg will drop down to a slither at 10 to 12 mpg once you deck it out with living supplies and electronic components. But what about the pictures?!

    Make it ‘Fit’ (Honda Fit)

Sounds like you've had a long interesting road already, and you're not even in your thirties! (calculated guess here) But you also seem to have a long road still ahead of you. Good luck!

Finally making a dream come true.

Grats man! Just hope he's not a cheeser making up a story to get a free vehicle from you!

    Inexpensive folding bike

as cool as those are, how hard is it to ride a full sized bike with training wheels? Of course I mean those tiny 10"ers on the front and back. Seems like you'd have to push real hard to keep goin!

    Make it ‘Fit’ (Honda Fit)

"Just do it" only works if you want to just get in it without knowledge of what to do afterwards. I actually find the thinking, creating, designing aspect of this lifestyle very comforting. It's fun to plan it out, and gives you something to look forward to. "Just do it" only applies to those in...

    Make it ‘Fit’ (Honda Fit)

This is definitely the most thought out and publically planned system I have seen to date; great job! Question: I am not familiar with the fit, but in the picture it looks like the seat going backwards appears to be vastly in the way of open space. How will you be sleeping? The same way you sit...

    Bush pee

I've seen a lot of backlash about people dumping grey OR black tanks far where no one is at. This is typically frowned upon because you're inviting unwanted bacteria to a thriving natural habitat that can cause unwanted effects. This is illegal on BLM land. Trees trying to use that water can...

This Graphic Lists Over 200 Resources for Making Money Online

There's a pretty big difference between writing proofs for customers vs writing a book at will. The former will be more instantly rewarding, where the ladder will be more rewarding in the long run.

    Make money off blog?

Man, them youtube gamers could make a living for thousands of people. Check out PewDiePie on Youtube--he banks like 40,000 to 50,000 a DAY. Millions per YEAR. It's insane how much video games can get you these days. And trust me, he's not a very good gamer! He's only been doing it for 4 years...

Are these the best/cheapest solar panels available?

For those interested in the Renogy 250w for 240, here's the link: https://www.renogy-store.com/250W-Mono-p/rng-250d-bk.htm That's actually a pretty incredible deal. I may need to pick up 3 at that price!

    Useful Smartphone (Android) Apps?

If you use Chrome, "Chrome to Phone" is an invaluable service to get stuff on your phone from your computer. With that, Google Drive is a good way to share content between all your device, or be able to access your data from anywhere (queue rant about privacy, blah blah blah.) MightyText which...

    Make money off blog?

I don't think it's so much interesting content as it is useful content. Well written writing can make wiping your bum seem interesting--if you're good at writing, you'll be good at making money writing. As the Joker says, if you're good at something, never do it for free. ;)

    Choice crisis!

People on the Thor forum have a general consensus that their large RV's get around 10mpg... Better than nothing I guess :P

    Choice crisis!

Wow, did not know Thor owned Damon. Thanks for the heads up Cyndi! I think my choice is now specifically between the 2001 Daybreak (found better pix) or a Trek 3030 if I can ever find one. Will definitely look at their forums!

    Choice crisis!

Guys guys guys. I need help. This is bugging me. The whole time I was planning on getting a Safari Trek RV... First it was the 24-26' model with a rear bathroom. But then I need a rear bedroom because of working situation. Now I was looking at a 30 foot model which had the rear bedroom, and the...

    Tell me what I need!

Talking about charging the engine battery off the house battery, but unless it's specifically needed, I'd rather run the engine for a half hour per week to keep it up to speed.
