Haircuts

I cut my own hair with clippers and a quarter inch attachment. On the back of my neck I use a one eighth attachment. I just cut till no more hair comes off. I also have a hat just in case.

    Cool homemade camper

He told me it didn't change his gas mileage. He said it weighs about 6 to 7 hundred pounds.

    Cool homemade camper

Saw this today. Thought it was pretty cool. He used quarter inch plywood, fiberglassed the corners, and coated the hole thing with snow coat. The peaked roof allow him to stand in it, but crouched a little. If you notice the front sides, he made it a little wider so he can sleep across the...

    firearms

The way I look at it is. I am 50 years old and I have never needed a gun. And if you have a gun and you use it, how will you handle killing someone. Im not against guns, I just dont think I need one. I will use a club, or pepper spray, or something like that.

    conflicted

First of all, is the truck worth what your asking?
Second, Is the offer enough for you to start what you want to do?
Third, What is more important to you? Waiting to get the money you want from your truck, or getting started on what you want to do?

    Junk yard battery

If you have a budget battery store in your area, check with them. I bought a deep cycle battery (120 AH) that was a factory second for 45.00. It has the same warranty. Ive been using it for 2 years now and is still going strong. I bought it for an electric trolling motor and now use it in my...

I'm not sure what to do now

The funny thing is, Im really not interested in talking to the people who are around me living the life I ran from. I like talking to people with the mindset that we have. Unfortunately there dont seem to be any around here.

I'm not sure what to do now

Hi Gump, I know how you feel. Everything listed here are good ideas. I've been living in my truck for 1 month now. I'm not dealing with the alone thing very well yet. Im hoping it will get better, but not so far. This site helps some but it doesn't replace the in person contact, in...

Sids pickup/camper combo work in progress

Well I checked my mileage with the wind deflector and I gained 1.5 MPG back with it on. So I can live with that.
Here are some pictures of the inside of my canoper. This is how it is during the day when I work. The bed is on the left. It folds down and you can see the legs that fold out...

    Camp host job.

I just saw a listing for a camp host job near santa barbara. It has water and sewer but no electricity. It is a 22 site campround. It sounds like a nice area. The only problem is, it is year round. Not good if you want to travel.

I can't find where Bob put a post.

A regular length van is 9 feet cargo area and the width varies top bottom and middle, but if you go with about 68 inches thats about right.

    My one regret so far...

I worked for the cable company many years ago and they used ford E350 vans and put man lifts in them. They started having structural problems with them and had to switch to one ton trucks.
